Principal
Mark Childs is a Principal at Capacity Commercial Group. Previous to Capacity, Mr. Childs founded Integrated Facility Services in 1994 which was eventually merged to form ICPS. His focus is on industrial/high-tech clients, using his rare background as a partner in an A/E firm to assist his clients with their total facilities solutions. As a 5th generation Oregonian, he attended Marshall High School, obtained an Industrial Engineering Degree from Oregon State, and a Masters in Business Administration from Portland State and was a registered P.E. Mark has been recognized by the Portland Commercial Association of Realtors as a “Top Producer”. Furthermore, he has won National Awards for “Largest High-Tech Deal” in the CORFAC Network.

Daniel Helm graduated from Louisiana State University as a top division one athlete. He spent two years at Newmark Knight Frank learning the fundamentals of industrial sales and leasing, being surrounded by extremely successful and kind people. Daniel joined Capacity Commercial group and has teamed up with one of the best industrial minds in the industry, Mark Childs. Daniel is a 4th generation Oregonian, he was raised by a faithful family and is married to his childhood sweetheart. In his spare time, he is involved in giving back to the community and spending time with his family. You will see Daniel continue to cheer for his alma mater LSU Tigers every Saturday and screaming “GEAUX Tigers.” Daniel enjoys hiking, snowboarding, golfing, yoga, and exploring the Pacific Northwest--and, of course, enjoying the journey while laughing with friends and family.

Daniel attended the University of Miami where he studied public relations and competed on the Miami Hurricanes baseball team. Alongside Mark Childs, Daniel specializes in the leasing and sales of industrial and flex properties in the greater Portland Metro area. He is committed to building long lasting relationships with his clients through his strong work ethic and attention to his clients’ needs. Outside the office Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as playing basketball.
