Originally established as a mill town in 1883, Camas was officially incorporated in 1906. The local economy was dominated by the wood pulp industry for a century.  Now in the path of progress, Camas extends a hand to this generation and has drawn significant investment from high-tech firms regionally, nationally, and internationally.  What is currently a 3rd generation dairy farm has become one of the single largest developable land parcels in Southwest Washington.
